I know its not out yet,hopefully Sept 18th will be the day? Any thoughts on a game with this much hype and detail will do once it hits release. How many of you have upgraded recently so you can play this game and a few others. think your system will handle it on mostly high settings? Will it finally be the breakthrough Direct X 10 game we have been waiting for? Or will it be Far Cry with prettier visuals and animations. Will it put the consoles to shame? I do admit Metal Gear 4 looks damn good and COD4. Thoughts...

What are the recommended specs??? Anyone know.

And don't tell me I have to get Vista, I hate that OS.

It will require vista to run in Directx 10 mode but it will support DX9 in XP. I saw the official specs somewhere (I think it was on the forum some place)

The games due to be released in a few months and the official specs aren't even on the crysis site.... pfft.

I'm looking forward to it, but I'm REALLY looking forward to Far Cry 2. Both these games will be on my list, as well as a new PC...

cod4 will probably be pc game of the yr, even tho crysis has much better graphic
