Playstation 3 Help Urgent

Are you using wireless internet direct to ps3 or are you going through a router.

If you are going through a router your best giving it a static ip address.

For example.

Gateway for my router is 192.168.2.1

ip address: 192.168.2.5
subnet mask255.255.255.0
default router 192.168.2.1
primary dns 192.168.2.1
secondary dns 192.168.2.1


your router gateway may be different just substitute yours in.

how to find your gateway on xp hit start button in windows then in run bar type cmd

A command window will popup type ipconfig hit enter key it will give you a listing of your gateway settings if your pc and ps3 are connected via router.
