Hey, I think I flashed my bios the wrong way on my K7T266 mobo, and now it's not starting up. Anyway, I tried to restore the old bios with that restore jumper, and I even took the battery out over night. It's still not starting up though. Any ideas? Special proceedures for restoring it?

When you say, (now its not starting up). Is it doing anything at all? Be more specific. You may need to reflash with an older flash to bring it back up, but if its completely dead and not responding whatsoever, you may have to send the M/B back to the manufacturer to get this problem resolved. Sometimes you have to reconfigure the CMOS settings after a flash, Be more specific as to whats happening now. Ryan

it's not even getting to the post. No beeps, nothin'. The fans are on though.

I'm trying the emergency bios recovery, where you pop in a disc with the bios file on it and hold ctrl+home, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Do this...pop in a PCI Video Card.........than power up the computer....take out ur AGP Video card for this process....now.....does it say AWARD Bios Boot Lock ??? it should if its an AWARD BIOS....if so than u still have a chance to fix ur computer....if not...than id say its safe to say ur fu<ked and have to return the board to the manufacturer....
