I'm hoping that part 2 includes probably the best looking shooter since Half Life 2, that being Crysis.

Well Rob thx for opening my eyes to the fact that MoH: Airborne is comming out in the next couple weeks. I thought it was scheduled for later...guess I better go get that reserved. What do you guys think...will it be better on PC or 360? I have a ps3 as well, but that isnt the most shooter friendly system.

Best,

I don't get the minimum spec's for stranglehold:

PC Requirements: minimum requirements include Intel Dual Core Processor, 2 GB of RAM, an Nvidia 7800 GPU or higher or ATI x1300 or higher and a whopping 15 GB of disk space. Recommended PC requirements have not been officially announced.

So an 7800 vs x1300????

If i see the upcomming games i'd better get myself a dual core..

Hey Crom, don't worry. Crysis will be featured in a future installment. Because of the slew of games coming out, we decided to seperate them by month. So we stuck to games for August/September in part 1. Crysis will probably be in part 3.

Anytime, 3Ball. I haven't had a chance to play a demo or beta for Airborne. So I don't really know what it will be better on, but since it's a shooter, I'd go in order: PC, 360, and PS3 last.

I was curious about that myself. It does seeme outrageous that th minimum specs are great than BioShock's, considering BioShock is a far superior looking game to Stranglehold. Here's a link to Midway's forum with a discussion thread on the requirements. According to the moderator, the requirements are high in part because of the substantial amount of video clips in the game, which apparently were directed by John Woo himself.

Yes, this looks like it's going to be a good fall for games. Good to see since this summer had such a horrible slew of games. It seems as if every three or so years there's a lot of good games that come out at once.

Some of the links in the article aren't working for me, may want to check them.

I'll tell you one thing though... there just isn't enough time to play all of these games.

When is Fable 2 coming out?

Good Article.

I want Assassins Creed

Hey Rob, can you do us a favour and include Assasin's Creed in Part 2? I want to hear about that game... last I heard it's up for release in Nov of this year... and it looks better then any other game I've seen!

Crysis gotta be on top of the best looking list.
UT3, next step from the game I've been playing for a large proportion of the time since late 2001. Great franchise.
Bioshock certainly looks the part, NOTE TO SELF DOWNLOAD THE HUGE DEMO OVERNIGHT TONIGHT.
Settlers - Rise of an Empire, for something a little different.

Roll on autumn.

Gonna be a great end to the year.
