Game Problem [Need help ASAP]

I'm not sure if this is in the right place, but if its not please move it to the right forum. Anyway, When I try play most games on my computer the screen is off-screen. It has being doing this for the past 2 months, I have tried three games and one works, but two doesn't. I have tried both games on a friends computer and they work. The top half is actually at the bottom. Here are some screenshots:

PLS HELP WILL MY SIMS 2 GAME! 'application crashes!'


Hi Can anyone pls help? I (also ) hope this is in the right section. pls answer
anyway, I bought a new computer in January. Its a dell, the graphics card is I think.... ATI Radeon X1300 PRO. I think its really bad- but anyway. I got the Sims 2, university, business, nightlife, seasons, pets & family stuff. the first 2 months that i played it was great, the graphics werent exactly rough-edge-less but i was happy. then i left for holidays and my sister downloaded something for the sims off the internet. a week later she called me that every time she could only play for about 30 mins and then it turned off, with a little error sign saying 'the application has crashed. the application will now terminate'. so we uninstalled the stuff but it still happens. ussually when i leave to a community lot. pls help! i had to save up for the comp and i wanna play the sims.
