Hello,

Do anyone know if you can configure a desktop that is twice as wide as
the monitor resolution e.g 2048x1024 for the desktop and 1024x1024 for
the monitor. Then simply be able to scroll with the mouse between
them..

Yes, if it is supported by the display driver. Check the documentation for
the display adapter or drop a line in email to the hardware manufacturer's
tech support for more details.

PS: This was a pretty common option on laptops a few years back. Have not
seen it lately.
