New PC soon ,need advice ????

Ok people I need advice what to buy.

1.AMD motherboard
2.INTEL motherboard

I am going to build my next PC in few months so what can I do, wait for new AMD HAMMER and then buy motherboard or wait till new PENTIUM 4 3.06GHZ going to come out and buy P4 motherboard?

A dec/jan upgrade to Intel Pentium4 3.06GHz and SiS 655 chipset motherboard would be very hard to beat.

Wait for the k8's to come out, then buy the best k7 for a lot less. Unless money is not an issue, then get the k8.

Go with Intel 3.06, no AMD CPU can beat it. The K8 is just hype, to me. You'll have gauranteed compatability and stability with Intel, and you have more options when you have to choose a mobo.
