I've noticed that the current Palm OS version in the 7135 is 4.1. This
is surprising to me because Palm OS 5.x has been available for a while.

Has anyone successfully upgraded this phone to 5.x?

"Can I upgrade my OS4 device to OS5" has been beaten to death in the
Palm groups. OS5 requires different hardware. You CANNOT run it on a
Dragonball CPU device, it REQUIRES an ARM CPU.

All OS4 devices are Dragonball. Therefore, you cannot upgrade a Kyo
7135 to OS5.

I'm hoping that with OS6 already out to the hardware vendors, that
Kyocera simply skips OS5 and releases an OS6 smartphone as soon as they
can get the FCC approval.
