I'm going to get a system with either the top most high end cpu or the next one to it, and SLI cards, either the ultra or the gtx/ 4gigs ram.

will I be able to max out on demanding games, spending that much $ was the point, thou I hear there are issues with bioshock...

Ive got a FX-57 With 2 Gigs Ram and 2x 7800GTX Sli'd and canplay bioshock max setting with 2xAA and 16xAF No Slow downs so i think your system will play well. Dirt is very taxing on my system though and can slow down quite a bit not properly optimised for PC I Think. You Should Play Bioshock Very Nicely With two GTXs

don't get the qx6850, just get a q6600, if you follow the general advice around (is it qx6850? I can't remember)
