I am thinking of purchasing a 1.8a or 2.0a and overclocking the processor(heard the 1.8 can go to 2.4 easily and sometimes even 2.8!!) What motherboard that is out now or in the near future would you suggest getting for overclocking and stability purposes. Thanks for you input!!

The 2.0A is a risky overclocker, that is to say, it is quite possible that you will end up with a FSB significantly less than the now common 533MHz FSB. 1.8A would be the best choice. The GIGABYTE 8PE667 motherboard has shown to be an excellent overclocker (FSB from 100 ~ 355Mhz for example).

The 8PE667 is approved by Gigabyte for use with PC3200 (DDR400) SDRAM for two slots. Anandtec found it stable with 3 DIMMs in their testing. It's probably the only board that is this stable with DDR400. And it's the highest performance DDR board on the market.

The P4S533 IS great....I got a 1.6A up over 2.4GHz, using just the standard Intel HSF. I would go with the Giga-byte board, though, as it is newer and, as Crashman pointed out, it fully supports DDR400, which is oh-so-cool. I would expect at LEAST 2.5GHz out of that 1.8A, with this board.
