The CD that came with this mobo was bad. I'm trying to get the Line In jack to convert to a Line Out jack for rear speakers. The utility to do this is on the non readable disc and I can't seem to find the program anywhere. Its not even on Gigabytes site. I'm trying to use my headphones along with 2 front speakers. Please let me know if there is a way that I can get the proper file from one of you guys or girls!!!! Thnaks in advance!!!!!!!!

Do you need the Creative CT5880 Audio driver?

Yes. I'm trying to ge the "line-in" jack to act as a line out jack but I can't do it without the small utility that came with the driver on the CD. I got the sound to work through drivers provided by windows update but by doing that I didn't get the proper utility to change the way the jacks work.

Why you don’t get it from the Gigabyte web page? It’s able to be downloaded.

I did download what they have and it doesn't install. I double click and nothing happens. Bummer...

The files you downloaded are ZIP files, you need to unzip them and then install them from the device manager.
