Hi all...I couldnt find anything in a related search, so here goes...

FSX brought my 3 year old machine to its knees...no, it was worse...

With the current Core 2 E6750 and an Nvidia 8800 GTX, will it play FSX with a decent
FPS?

(I know there are more variables, like the settings, etc)

Thanks in advance,

Tom W.

Hi

these are my specs
CPU E6700 @ 2.66ghz OVERCLOCKED TO 4.2ghz
VAPOCHILL LIGHT SPEED PHASE CHANGE COOLING - 52 *c
OCZ PC 8500 DDR2 RAM 2g ,AIR COOLED BY OCZ XTC COOLER
P5N32-E SLI MOBO, VOLTAGE REGULATORS AND CHIPSET, WATER COOLED by KOOLANCE
2X 300g MAXTOR HD
2X 8800 BFG ULTRA, WATER COOLED BY KOOLANCE
KOOLANCE INTEGRATED WATER COOLING PC CASE
DELL 30" LCD

i run the game at 2500x1600 resolution
in game setting more or less on high
and the game run fairly smooth, depends on where you are in the game, trees ,traffic, scenery ect.
sometimes FPS drops to 25 , on average i would say 55FPS
if i turn down resolution a noch, FPS goes up , but screen image does not look as sharp as it wood be in the native resolution of my screen.
its trial and testing different setting .
this game looks very realistic, but is a monster to run ,if you want it to look good.
the recommended specs on the box would run the game just barely.
i would think that one GTX and a E6750 with some fast ram would run the game pretty good.
