OEM Mobos

I would like to find out if there are such things as OEM mobo makers?

Most motherboard manufacturer makes OEM Motherboard.

I know Compaq makes boards just for them. they arent designed to work with any other system. Also, most aftermarket mobos wont work in their systems except the towers. But since their power supplys are on the low end, 230 to 250 watts, I wouldnt try running anything power hungry in them anyway. By the way I work for Compaq.
