But my credit cards.. well I want to avoid using them.
Has anybody used those visa gift card credit cards? They act like credit cards but you have to put money on them first. Do they work online?

Dude, make sure you buy the exact 8800gt if you are going to SLI. You want the same card spec.

If you have a CC you may be able to get a Virtual card number from your CC company for a one time use online. As far as safety goes I have Newegg has thousands of my Dukets $$$, and all on the same card. I've never had a problem with them.
To SLI your 8800GT you can use any version just make sure if it's a factory overclocked one that your current card can handle the same speed. You may need to bump up your cooling if the one you have is a stock card. As for brand... I've become a bit of an EVGA fanboy. they have always taken care of me with their lifetime warranty, even when I smoked a card or Mainboard due to my own stupidity.

I've never had an issue with Newegg concerning anything, let alone my funds. I rate them as SAFE.
