From my work my pc is but a p-100, 16 ram, no sound, win95, T1 connection would such a sys work?

Its just a java applet, not too power hungry, unless works firewall prevents online access it should work on any internet capable system with java.

My wife keeps closing my mirc when I leave the computer, or I would idle in there 24x7.

the chat is open to all, and if you go wait a bit and see if someone else shows up.

You might be interested to know that I'm in the VERY EARLY stages of creating a game. It's going to be a full-blown RPG in the classic style. (None of this weird next-gen crap, although it will be 3D.) I'm using the A5 (Quake, anyone?) engine. If anyone has suggestions, e-mail 'em to me - I'll give you credit.

Make a character called a silverpig!

I'd buy your game for sure then

If my baby don't love me, I know, I know, her sister will.

You need to include a kilted warrior called Camie, who's incredibly brave, dashing, charming and modest.

Scottish Beserkers!!!

Also include Camie's leader William Wallace OldBear.

Buddha, Mahomet, Jesus and Confucius! They once cared for us, perhaps they still do!

Although it has a lot of good ideas, beer doesn't know anything about computers!!!

Reply to Tom_Smart

So where are we?

We have a Scottish Warrior on a hill, a lurking fish in a stream and a slightly mature bear.

Will the bear eat the fish?
Will the bear eat the Scotsman?

or will they just join forces upstream at the bridge and take out the trolls there in?

Tune in next week for the next exciting cliffhanger!!!

I believe the Quake II engine was just made open source, in case you wanted to use that instead.

Don't forget a really fat guy with the head of a cheeseburger

Actually, the A5 engine (check it out <A HREF="http://www.conitec.org/a4info.htm" target="_new"> here </A> ) is used to create many QuakeII levels.
