Is it possible to purchase the Kyocera Slider from VZW to use on their Pre
Pay? Or are you stuck with what they sell for Pre Pay? Also, does their
Pre Pay offer any type of wap usage? Thanks

You can pretty much use any VZW phone on Prepay. That's the good
news. The bad news is that you're likely to pay full retail for the
phone, or nearly.

VZW offers a couple of phones aimed at the Prepay folks... I think the
current lineup is a Kyocera and maybe the "PP" version of the
T720/730. The VZW Web site offers the KX414PP. There should be
nothing electronically different between the "PP" versions and the
regular versions...it's likely just a marketing thing.

And to you, the difference is that they charge a discounted price on
the PP phones ($129 for the 414, on the Web site). If you get a
non-PP branded phone, you'll likely pay either full retail, or perhaps
a premium over the 1 year price.

WAP is a no go for Prepay, pretty much. Others with more experience
with it in here can tell you how to use a non-standard gateway to just
use your cell minutes...but the Mobile Web VZW service is not offered
on Prepay.
