My friend just built a new PC for himself and we have performance issues with Medal of Honor: Airborne, even before the game starts!
As the program launches, the EA logo is already very choppy and once the menu would start to load, it%u2019s like 0,1 FPS%u2026 You have to kill the software from Task Manager just to exit.
Anybody experiencing the same? Specs: Gigabyte nforce 570 SLI based board X2 5200+ (Windsor) 2,6Ghz 2x1GB Kingmax DDR2800 RAM (defaulted to 2T timings, will try manual override to 1T today) Geforce 8600GT VGA 320GB WD SATA2 HDD SATA DVDRW 450W Chiefetc PSU Win XP Pro (SP2), 32bit DotNet 3.0 installed NO OVERCLOCKING,all the latest drivers ARE installed, EXCEPT for the nvidia IDE and Sata drivers as those suck.
...latest drivers, nvidia IDE and Sata drivers NOT installed.
You state you are having issues and then state you do NOT have the latest drivers installed. You're kidding right?
You answered your own question.
Install the latest mobo, video, and audio drivers and then report back on any performance isssues you might have. It's ridiculous to offer any suggestion or attempt to troubleshoot your issue if you don't even have some or all of the latest drivers installed.

Sorry, man, you've misunderstood me, I will re-phrase it: all the latest drivers ARE installed (nforce, geforce, audio) EXCEPT for the nvidia IDE/SATA drivers as they suck. For IDE/SATA we use the standard Microsoft drivers.
