Hi, Could somebody please recommend some plans for Canada? I am currently
living in Urbana, Illinois and need to call Cadana frequently. I checked
currently available plans and found most of them only covered US. Is there a
plan that can cover both USA and Canada?

VZW has Canadian coverage available. It's a $10 adder for the SRN plan, and
it's included with some AC ones.

Check with your local VZW store.

I used the 10 buck add on last fall on both a Singlerate and an
America's choice plan, and it worked fine. The AC plan was actually
improved by going across the border, since there's no roaming in
Canada on the plan.

go to the verizon web site or call verizon; there have been numerous
mentions of the new north american plan which includes vast portions
of canada, apparently simliar to the a/c plan

My America's C hoice allows me to call Canada for no extra charge. That's
why I went
with Verizon since my son now lives in Canada.

But that's not the case in most markets.

National Single-Rate with the Canada option and North America's Choice are
the only VZW plans that OFFICIALLY include Canada.
