  1. You have to perform a clean install... you can't upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit.
  2. How do i do this because it wont accept the disc i've transfered all my files ,and managed too do a clean insall with the 32b disc which i didn't want to do but i can't get it to accept the 64b disc to do a clean install .
  3. You need to boot from the 64-bit disk, not try to run it from within Windows. But back up your data first!
  4. How do i boot from the 64b disk .thank you
  5. The same way you would boot from the 32-bit disc... put the disc in and boot the computer.
  6. I don't realy understand boot ,if you mean restart i do this and nothing happens .

Make sure you have your DVD drive set to boot before your hard drive... or select your DVD drive from the boot menu. (Make sure the 64-bit disc is inserted, of course). It should boot and start Windows setup.
