I,m thinking of buying ECS P4S5A motherboard as I have a P-4 1.5 cpu. Is this an ok board and does it matter it does not have a agp pro slot. Will I still be able to use a newer video card with this board. Also would 750 mg of sdram be as good as 256mg ddr ram. This will be my back up computer

Very few cards use the "Pro" slot, which adds more power connections. Even the 9700 Pro uses a standard slot, opting for a mini 4-pin drive power connection instead of AGP Pro for the extra power needed.

I still wouldn't choose an ECS board, but AGP Pro wouldn't be a reason why.
