I have a question my mobo shorted out on me ive purchased a new one and tried my old cpu in the new mobo. now the when I turn the power on it shuts on but shuts off immediatly now after that I took an educated guess and proclaimed my cpu dead so I purchased a new onel. now the question is do I need to replace the memory as well. how it shorted out was when I raised the voltage by 10 points and my mobo blew on me after that so im wondeing did that kill all other of my components as well? If anyone knows the answer to this question please help me because I desperatly need it thanx.

Wow, I wish that when you were throwing things out, I were your garbage man!

Your board is most likely not mounted properly, shorted through a spare mounting stud, probably the second one up in back. And you probably didn't fry the previous board. Anyway, send my your old board, I could use it.
