or just look in the device manager (run-devmgmt.msc) for network
adapters & see what you have there. Another way of checking is to use
the command prompt to issue the command "ipconfig /all", which should
also provide a description of any networking devices. You should then be
able to tell whether you have a network card, networking LAN inbuilt on
the motherboard or perhaps both?
