Why does NONE of the big review sites even review the Soyo Dragon Ultra, which has been given some recent awards -- and is the recent "star" mobo of Fry's Hardware???

Is it *still* considered of lower class build? Haven't they improved their reputation?

What about its "jumperless" ease-of-install? What about its apparently good layout/design? And what about all those features--incl. DDR-400 support?!

Is the Via chip really all that bad?!

Please help me as I'm about to purchase (today or tomorrow), and am between that board and the Gigabyte (which Fry's has stopped carrying).

i think soyo has made it clear that they are a major player in the perfomers croud, i have the soyo dragon +. by no means should you consider frys as the deffinitive in what is good or bad. they have good deals, but most of their pre built starter computer i have seen suck.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal
