Please help find super small fractal based game

A couple of years ago we found a tiny (maybe a couple of meg or even as small as k) fractal based game. All I remember is that it was small, used fractals in place of textures, and it bogged down systems at the time. I'd love to find it again and see how it runs on current processors.
