MSI KT3 Ultra

Hey, my friend found a comp with this mobo and an Athlon XP1800+, but he'd like to know how far he can upgrade. I looked on the MSI page, and it said only up to XP2200+, but many of those pages aren't updated. Does anyone know for sure if that's the limit. Just making sure.

I bought one of these boards recently and on the box it said XP2200+ and future AMD processors...

with amd messing around with the release of the xp2700 and 2800 I wouldnt be surprised if the motherboard manufacturers dont know the whole story yet.

Hey C,

I have the KT3 Ultra ARU & I have already flashed with the latest Bios from the MSI Live Update & it supports Athlon XP 2400+ & 2600+. Your friend should have the same bios upgrade, install the live update & check it for the latest bios.
