As you can see the Crysis is now downloadable. I downloaded it installed it there is no crapware or Ageia phyx just the game. I've already played it and here is my
Summary NO SPOILERS.
Long ass demo it was like a solid 45 minutes with slightly screwing around. E6600 8800GTX 2GB RAM Beta 169.01 drivers maxxed out quality with 8xQ AA was at 30 something solid fps (Acceptable). No OCing Done. Win XP Pro SP2. 1280x1024. Gameplay was pretty good not the best but pretty good. I enjoy charging up on with a barrel and smashing them with it.

I really don't want to try the demo. I'm awaiting the real deal.

I'm glad to know that you get such good performances. How were the graphics compare to other recent games?

Anybody tried it on Vista and Dx10 setting?

Ran it on both xp and vista. and vista murdered all framerates

well then you sir should not be playing video games escpecially fps.. getting bored after 30 minutes... you must have ADHD... :S

Probably it's me I get bored of any game after 30 minutes. not really normal at age 15 all my friends say I need to play more games. but then again... they are all girlfriendless

i really enjoyed the demo. I ran in on a c2d 6420 @ 2.8 ghz with 8800gts 320 @ 600/1400 2gb ram and it ran pretty well at high settings on vista 64. Running on very high settings however brought my system to its knees, which was expected. At high i estimate i ran at about 25-40fps which isnt too bad but still a little disappointing. Hopefully the final game will be much more optimized and will run much better on my system. But overall i really enjoyed thee demo.

i just played it with a 3800+ x2,3gb ddr2 800 and a 256mb 7600gt.i had some setting on low and some medium and it looked ok at 1280 x 800. i am gonna get a new vid card soon(probably the 8800gt) and then i'll overclock my cpu till the phenom comes out.I played far cry first with a 128mb 5700le and then with my 6600gt so you get better replay value.If you want to play it on the highest settings i hope you have a very powerfull pc:) I am gonnna get this game as i'm happy with not having them up so high
