Should I Buy PS3 or UPGRADE MY PC??

Hi,

I am looking to BUY a SONY PS3 60GB Console, But i m confused whether to Upgrade my PC or buy the PS3 Console.

If I upgrade my PC the configuration will as follows:

Intel C2D E6750 2.66GHz 4MB 1333FSB
Intel G33FB Mobo
XFX GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB Video Card Fatal1ty Edition
Zalman Fatal1ty FS-C77 CPU Cooler
Corsair VX550W 550-Watt PSU
Corsair TWINX 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 (XMS2)
2* 250GB Seagate SATA 2 HDD
Sony DVD RW 18X

WILL THIS PC CONFIG BE BETTER THAN THE PS3 FOR GAMING???

Can you name 3 ps3 games out right now, that you really, really want to play?

If not, then you might as well upgrade your PC.

With those specs i'd kick PS3's arse. Although i'm currently considering a PS3/PC upgrade i'm going for PS3 as i'm on an AGP system and require a FULL ugrade which is out of the question at the moment.

like others pointed out, those sys specs will pwn a ps3 several times over. however, unless you're a true gaming enthusiast, stick with the ps3. if you get a new pc, don't think you can just dole out the money and be done with it. newer, more resource-hungry games are always being developed and you'll find yourself truly questioning whether or not the entertainment from gaming is truly worth it. it's worth it to me, though.
