Anyone notice that the number of rings before going to voicemail has
decreased? I think it used to be 10-12 rings... now it seems to be less
than that...(maybe 7-8?) Had quite a few calls that went to voicemail before
I could answer them--thinking "I got a few more rings to answer
this...oops!"
For example, the time to pick up the phone see who it is put on the headset
etc.. I could do all this before it went to voicemail.
Seems to have started about 1 week ago.

This is a locally configured item. If you say what area of the
country you are in it will help focus the answers.

I think in some markets you can call customer service and have them change
this for you. Most places are 6 rings from what I have heard. I think the
timer starts from when they first place the call and not from when your
phone first starts ringing (which may vary).
