Hey all,
Seems like Bioware and Lucasarts have teamed up again to to "create an interactive entertainment product". Could this be the long awaited third installment to KOTOR?
Doesn't EA own Bioware now, so theyll milk whatever they can as usual.
This is why I gagged like a cat with a hairball when I heard about the EA acquisition. Who knows if BioWare will be able to pull this project off now that it's part of EA. They may have BioWare tied up for the next 7 years doing Mass Effect 2 and 3.

Its a starwars RPG set 4000 or so years before Episode IV. It also went on to gain 47 game of the year awards in 2003 but that was then. If Bioware is making KOTOR 3 I hope they can utilise the Mass Effect engine, now that would be really exciting..
As long as LucasArts doesn't get greedy and decide to castrate KOTOR3 just to rush it out the door and make some fast $$$ like what they did to KOTOR2.
KOTOR2 was good until it abruptly ended.

i kno, they never finished it, and had to cut off half the stuff in it, there was loads of stuff, textures and so on, in the game, but unused
Fear not, KOTOR fans -- you may have already read about this, but there's a mod project underway to restore the deleted and unfinished content from KOTOR 2. Check it out:

Another rumor about this project is that instead of it being KOTOR 3 it's an MMO set in the KOTOR universe. Star Wars Galaxies was handled badly so maybe they're taking another shot at the MMO market with a different game.
