So, we all should know that hardware depreciation sucks.
If you're like me you have on several occasions bought the latest and greatest for a good price! only to have the good price get 15-20 $ better within a week of your buying.
I'm posting this because I was LOL'ing @ a Craigslist ad for a 'gaming computer' for $2000
Components include a 3.2 pentium 4 HT, 8600gt,... generic 350w psu. etc. etc.
somebody posted another system not too long after w\ a e7200, 9600gt, 4gb, w\ 19'' lcd for $550..
But really... how do you price an 80gb hard drive that still costs X dollars to make when people are selling 1000gb hard drives for $120 ?
if you kept the gigabyte to dollar ratio, the 80gb disk would cost $9.60 ! lol
