I haven't bought this game yet, but after playing the demo and watching the Gamespot review, I think it'll be my next gaming purchase. I am just curious though about how it runs on people's computers.
If you could post some of your specs (all I'm interested in is CPU / RAM / V.Card) and tell me how the game runs, such as what resolution you play on and any graphical frills you have enabled, that would be very helpful. If there's a way to plug in a command into the console so you can view your FPS, or if you have Fraps and can give me a ballpark average of what you get, that'd be perfect.
I'd be buying this game for the MP, but I don't want my PC to be choking at 1280x1024 with the system you see in my signature. So post away!
Oh, and just wanted to add I did play the demo, but I could not change ANY of the video/sound options without it immediately crashing, and so it ran at the default 800x600 and it looked terrible, but played extremely smooth (of course). So I haven't been able to judge the performance for my own PC based from the demo.

Everything on highest setting (I may have set shadows low/medium) w/ 4xAA & AF @ 1280x1024. Played through the whole demo with 40+ FPS, even in the really packed areas with lots of fighting going on. Specs in my sig.
Quote :
Singleplayer textures on "Extra" settings
1920 x 1080
AA 4x
17-30FPS
Only have lag on night missions
Multiplayer (even though its pointless) Textures on high.
1920 x 1080
AA 4x
20-40FPS
Runs smooth, but the servers dont.
That high resolution must be killing your performance or something. :x I instantly get this little buzzer that goes off in my head once I dip below 25-30 FPS, and it drives me crazy.
