I believe you need an adapter for the PS3 controller, but I'm not sure. I'd rather get the X360 controller because Microsoft is supporting it as an official PC gaming solution.
I played Bioshock hooked up to my TV using the PC xbox controller, controllers are great for roms hooked to the tv, my NES just doesn't work great half the time, so using the pc lol..
