Windows Update

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.newusers (More info?)

I have just reformatted and reinstalled Windows XP and
then went to Windows Update. It seemed to install a new
version of Windows Update, it then starts looking for
updates and gives Error: 0xC80003FA

I can find nothing about this error. Suggestions please.

Hi Paul,

Then I would suggest you point your newsreader directly to this link:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsupdate
as there are many experts there that should be able to further assist you.
