Has anyone tried the new Intel D845PE Mainboard with Serial ATA. How does it run?
I've compared prices with the Asus P4PE and found that the Intel board is a lot cheaper.

Are there any serial ATA drives out yet?

I realize there are boards with the option. But AFAIK there are no actual harddrives available yet. So it's not possible to test the performance unless you've actually got a serial drive.

There are adapters available that go between the serial ATA cable and the hard drive.
