I have somehow disabled or completely lost Notepad, can someone tell me if I
can restore it or should I re-install it from disk, and if so, how.

Yes that works fine, but I need to re-activate notepad.exe to run Norton
Antivirus programs, Norton appearently will not work without notepad.
Thanks for any help.
