GA-7VAX Hardware Compatability

I have just bought a Gigabyte GA - 7VAX Motherboard and want to know if its compatable with my 800MHZ Duron, the board spec says it is but in the user manual it says 1.4GHZ or higher, but AMD don't make a Duron this fast, WEIRD.
secondly I have a GEFORCE 2 MX and i wondered if this woud work since my new M/B is DDR only, and finally is it worth spending the extra on DDR400 memory since the FSB of my proccessor is only 200MHZ and my M/B supports 200/266/333 FSB or am i not understanding the relationship between these very well.

This motherboard does indeed support durons. And it will work with the GeForce2 you mentioned - the fact that it supports DDR only has no bearing. I would get at least DDR333 if you don't already have DDR memory. Good day!
