More Information

Well I finally got around to trying the Crysis Demo, and it wasn't long before I ran into trouble. Here's some screen shots I took during the first 5 minutes.

(more pics on the side)

I should mention I tried running the demo on all video settings. Anyway these were taken after I updated my driver for my 8800 GTS 320MB. I Expected not to be able to run the game at max settings but this is ridiculous.

Additional Info
Windows XP Pro SP2
EVGA 8800 GTS 320MB
AMD X2 6000+
2 GB Corsair Ram

first, make absolutely sure you have the latest nvidia beta drivers. Next, google search for "MS Direct X Update" and download the latest direct x update from MS. You may not think you need to do this but it can solve some of your problems. Finally, uninstall, then reinstall the demo. You should have no trouble running the game at least decently.

**Also, make sure you have disabled any overclocking on your GPU before you start troubleshooting and make sure your overclock isn't the source of your troubles.
