I think that's different to guitar hero 3, that's more of a stand alone sequel on the PS2.

Screw the Romantics. That has got to be the lamest excuse for a lawsuit I've heard in a while. Sounds like Activision got permission to make a copy BUT they copied it too good or something. What a load of crap.

Quote :

The band's attorneys tell the Detroit Free Press for Thursday's edition that Activision properly secured permission to use "What I Like About You," allowing it to record a cover version.

But they say by creating an imitation so much like the Romantics' original, the California-based company infringed on the group's rights to its own likeness.

Get a real guitar and get into a real band!!! Wouldn't the time spent make more sence that way? Then you can get real fans and hmm, you never know maybe real girlfriends

Got an electric and acoustic guitar playing for 5 years. Got a girlfriend. Not in a band... I play solo

Thats cool Iv'e been playing the drums for 20 plus years, so I get angree at fake instuments, LOL. I was only half serious on my last post.
Just seems like people, prob. kids spend alot of time playing a fake guitar, when they could learn the real thing, much much better. And there is a fun factor it's not like homework. Oh well...

Sounds like they are getting mad because the game is making more money off their song then they ever did...

i find the game to be more fun than a real electric guitar 1 year playing here, although i feel like i should learn an instrument properly in my lifetime.
