this AMD board has a P4 power connector thing on it.
My question is, will it still work with out one plugged in? I wanna buy a new motherboard for my bro for christmas. i have all the other parts here so he can upgrade. running a AMD k6-2 500!!! But i'm having a hard time choosing an AMD board. This one looks great but my bro doesn't have the power supply with the extra p4 power supply thing.
also can you recommend an AMD board? thanks!
