Hi,

I'm experiencing the following problems.

I am using a Dlink DSL-G604T adsl modem / wireless router.
In an another room (two walls further), i installed a DWL-2000AP+ as
REPEATER (with WLAN MAC adress of DSL-G604T).

The Range extender works, so i can connect to my router and receive an ip
number via DHCP.
Here I use a laptop with an old Belkin PCMCIA card 802.11B.
I can browse the internet, and also a ping is working to the adsl router,
from time to time i get a "request timed out", but that is not really a big
problem.

So far, so good.

Now i installed a DWL-G520+ PCI card in my PC. When i place this PC near
the DSL-G604T wireless router, everyting works fine (wireless), I get an ip
number from dhcp and all works.
When i place this PC near the REPEATER, i also get my IP number via the
repeater from the router (DHCP) !!, but i cannot browse the internet, and a
ping command to my router always results in "ping request timed out".....

This is very strange for me, becaus I use a 100% compatible dlink PCI card,
and my laptop works fine with an old belkin pcmcia card ....!?

Anyone advice or tips ?

Thanks !
