I have an unofficial Nokia Data Cable and everytime i plug the phone into the USB port it charges. As many of you know, continually charging batteries when they're half full destroys the batteries effective life. I was just wondering if I could stop the phone charging everytime I plug it into the computer. I was fiddling around with the USB Root Hub and came across the power management tab. Does this have anything to do with stopping my phone charging when plugging it in? If some of you are curious what cable I have it is a CellNet USB Data Cable/Charger.

Thanks to anyone out there who can help.
