This is my first post here so hello everyone!
I’ve decided to get one to upgrade my old Pentium 3
pc and I’ve got a P4 2,4 Ghz, 512 mb ddr 333 mhz and the
ASUS P4PE mainboard. On my old pc I had a RAID array with two hd’s configured in mirror mode.
To my big surprise once i installed the hd’s in this
new mainboard only one if was recognized. I thought
it was a problem of configuration but then i read on
the manual and it seems as though you can put
just one parallel ata hd in the RAID array together
with a Serial ATA hd but not two parallel ATA hd’s!!!
I really don’t understand and I can’t find any support
on this matter on the Asus website!
Have I misunderstood what they wrote on the manual?
Is there a way to create a RAID array (mirroring) with two
normal hd's? Needless to say I tried to configure them as
both Master or Master and Slave and still nothing.
Please help me I'm getting desperate!

Also, another thing I don't understand!
How come it's not possible to adjust the bass and trebles
tone? Is it me once again not understanding how to set
the audio? Also I can hear a really bad background buzz
when I connect my Cambridge Soundworks 4-Point surround speakers
with analogue connectors.
I must confess i'm not so satisfied with this card!

Thanks for any who would help me in this matter!
