hello.
Can anyone recommend a durable gaming pad for a PC?
one which can last for "years"
i'm tired of pads whose buttons stop working or get stuck within months or weeks of use.
i need help. pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzz.
I personally hate gamepads, but my kids (ages 8 and 6) have used them with Star Wars Lego, though at this point we've gone through three of them (gamepads, not kids). Somehow PC gamepads don't stand up to being dropped/thrown/chewed on.
Durable would be good. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

If your computer still has a gameport, the best game pad is the original Sidewinder (the best PC pad ever).
If you need to a USB type, there are 3 very good kinds. Xbox360 pad with 3rd party drivers, playstation pad with USB adaptor (3rd customizable driver preferred), and my personal favorite: sega saturn pad with USB adapter.
