looking for a game pls help!!!

hi i am looking for this computer game i played when i was younger, it was about seven years ago and i cant remember the name of it. i will describe it as best i can... it begins with a young man awaking on a beach he has been washed ashore. he is on some kind of Quest. um, he looks under some driftwood and finds a ring. he also encounters the seven dwarfs. in the game, there is also a cabbage patch, a ship, a black widow spider, and he has to do various tasks throughout the game. it is really hard for me to explain being so long ago but i think the character's name is alexander. it may be called something like the Quest of something. please help!!!
