We have a HP 4110 printer. The problem is the Power Indicator Light
Flashes and the printer WILL NOT do anything. We checked HP's website
and went through the trouble shooting wizards with no luck. We could
not find any documentation relating to the error codes itself. Any
help would be greatly helpful or anyone that has had this problem in
the past with a quick fix.

S.S.-

What were the error codes? Perhaps someone has the service manual and could
look them up.

If it was only the flashing light, then the problem could be anything that
would interfere with normal operation of the printer, including something like
being out of toner or the paper tray being empty.

Does it have an IP address? If so, you may be able to connect to it via
ethernet using a web browser. The URL would be something like
http://123.456.789.10/. If it has the web-based setup, a description of the
problem may be listed there.

Things you can try include opening all the access doors and checking for scraps
of paper that might have jammed the works. Remove and reseat the toner
cartridge. Make sure all components that can be "user serviced" are correctly
seated and locked into place.

Did you ever do any upgrades? If you added memory, try reseating it. If it
has a removeable network card, reseat that.

I assume you recycled power at some point. If all else fails, you might try
resetting the printer, but doing so will return the printer to the factory
defaults and zero-out things like the IP address. Similar HP models are reset
by holding down the "GO" or "Pause/Resume" button while turning on the power.

If you have done all these things, it may require a visit by the service
technician.

You where right. This error code resulted in us sending the unit back
to HP to get replaced with a new one. Thanks for your help.
