I have a Gigabyte 7dx Motherboard and wants to upgrade it. There is a table in Gigabyte site saying that it supports up to AthlonXP 2000+ with 266FSB. That's sounds too good as far as I remember so I want to make sure that my board will support that cpu.

another thing, the Gigabyte site list 3 revisions of the 7dx. What does that mean and how do I check what revision do I have?

The revision number is written somewhere on the motherboard, most often between 2 PCI slots or in a Corner
