Im wonderingif there will be some new game mods coming out?
 
I really enjoyed counter strike and source, and with the release of so many new games will we see any new mods? A mod using the crysis engine would be awesome especially if they made a mltiplayer only mod
 
Also is half life episode 2 using the same engine as episode 1? meaning there wont be a new cs coming out of it?
 
I guess im basicaly asking if it is easy to make mods out of these new engines or if people just cant be bothered. I just think crysis is so nice to look it would be a waste not use it.

I think we'll probably see some Crysis mods.
 

It still uses the source engine, but I think it uses a revamped physics engine as well as some other tweaks to greatly improve lighting. (Which was absolutely fantastic if you cranked up all the lightning and shadows!) A pretty fun CS:S mod that may entertain you for a while is ZombieMod. Just search for zombiemod servers in CS:S. It kept me entertained for a few weeks while I was waiting for new games to come out.

Cryengine 2 mods (Crysis), take a look at MechWarrior : Living Legends.  It's so far looking sweet.
