Flight Sims

Im looking for a nice combat flight sim along the lines of eurofighter 2000. Anyone remember that?
I have been looking at Microsoft Flight Simulator X and the various add ons for it. Is this the kind of thing im looking for. Would like various mission types, bombing, dog fighting etc etc. I don't want the controls to be UBER complicated but it has to have plenty of features.

Any ideas?

Oh, and a decent helicopter flight sim would be good. Comanche is looking very dated now.

I don't think FS has any bombing etc, (although I believe there are add-ons that have bombers etc, but im pretty sure there's no destruction or bomb dropping).
