So, once I saw the 'Mass Physics' video by ABadFeeling, I wondered why he didn't use destructable objects, and set out to make my own video.
I now realise that destructable objects are extremely limiting, allowing far fewer objects.

Still, it was damn fun to try ;)

was that DX10? what settings are you using?

I liked how the last one ended up having half the tower floating hehah

it wouldnt matter if it was dx9 or 10, he probably has a pretty beefy system to make it with that many explosions (but it does seem hes using dx10 very high settings (or winXP dx9 tweaks to make it look like very high).

Everything set to Very High, except AA, because I was in the Editor.

Also, as far as frame-rates go, I used a command line instruction to take a screen cap of every frame and merged them together to make a movie (If you're interested in doing it, there's a link to a tutorial on the video's YouTube page).
When I was actually rendering the scenes, my frame rates were beyond horrific. Sometimes it dropped below 1FPS. XD
