MicroATX board in an ATX case?

Can i put a microATX board in a full ATX tower? I'm concerned about the back of the case not fitting the back of the motherboard properly. Thanks in advance

Yes, you can.

Yes, it's simply a shorter version of the full ATX board. Basically a Micro ATX board is an ATX board with about 3 inches chopped off the bottom. In fact, most Hewlett Packard full ATX cases used mATX boards.
